They say necessity is the mother of invention, but at TALT Plumbing, it was also the father of innovation and the cradle of quality. Established in 2015, TALT Plumbing was founded by John—more affectionately known as Trey—with not just skill and ambition but also the responsibility of a young family relying on him.
Initially setting out as a commercial plumbing service, our connections with local general contractors quickly catapulted us into projects for well-known businesses like Starbucks, KFC, Chipotle, and even Verizon, to name a few. Our expertise was noticed; we soon found ourselves working on government contracts, installing specialized systems for the U.S. Department of Defense at NASJRB in Fort Worth, TX, and constructing rest areas for the Texas Department of Transportation.
Despite our success, we realized that time is the most precious asset, especially when it’s spent with family. We made the difficult but rewarding decision to pivot our focus from statewide commercial new construction to the residential and commercial repair sector in the DFW Metroplex. Our team now heads home to their families every night, just like we help you take care of yours during the day.
Meet the Man Behind the Wrench: John "Trey" Padilla — Your Master Plumber
Fun Fact:
I’m 18 years younger than most Master Plumbers in Texas, a testament to my early start and continuous commitment to the trade.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington, my academic background is as unorthodox as it is valuable. My original dream was to become an Orthodontist, but life had other plans—in the form of pipes and wrenches.
I’ve built new homes, serviced commercial properties, and mastered new construction for over two decades in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. And when I’m not solving your plumbing puzzles, you’ll find me on the golf course, at a fishing hole, or coaching my kids’ sports teams. I’ve coached over 150 young athletes, and just like with plumbing, I find the experience immensely rewarding.
Family isn’t just important to me—it’s why TALT Plumbing exists. I owe my strong work ethic to my father, who taught me the value of hard work and respect from a young age. In fact, The name TALT is more than just a brand; it’s a family acronym representing each of its members—Trey, Audrey, Lily, and Trey—infusing our business with a deeply personal touch.
